Poldark / West (Newquay Edition)

We depart from your pick-up point in Newquay and head off towards Botallack Mine. A great opportunity to see the filming locations of 'Poldark' and learn about the amazing feat of mining that kept Cornwall alive.

Following our stop in Botallack we head off to Penberth. This small village is home to just a few.

Take a look around this delightful area before heading off to Gunwalloe

  • Shipwrecks and smugglers
  • Dramatic shipwreck scene of 'Poldark'
  • Medieval Church

Gunwalloe Church Cove is peaceful yet set amongst an area of ragging seas and rocks causing many real-life shipwrecks, making this an archaeological area of interest.

Return onto the vehicle for the relaxing drive back to your pick-up point.

Poldark / West (Truro Edition)

Our Tour departs from your pick-up point and heads out to St Ives has long been established as a fishing port, however in more recent times the cultural shift has made this small village a haven for artists, and many galleries can be found including the renowned Tate Gallery, St Ives. Today St Ives is one of the most visited places in Cornwall and on many a wish list.

We meet up again and make our way through narrow coastal roads to our next stop off at Botallack Mine. This is a short photo opportunity stop especially exciting for those Poldark fans or anyone who has links or interest in Cornwall’s mining past. Time permitting you can sit and watch the film of the history of this location and the filming of 'Poldark'.

With everyone back on board we will head to our final destination, Marazion overlooking St Michael’s Mount (home of a Medieval Castle)

  • Wander the streets or sit in a café and take in the views

From St Michael’s Mount we travel back to your Hotel or pick up point.

Finesse would like to welcome you to our day tour. We will collect you from your chosen pick up point and take you on a scenic coastal drive to Port Isaac

Tintagel, our next stop and home to many wonderful places to explore and enjoy, whatever your tastes. Tintagel Castle is the most well-known with its legendary links to King Arthur. As part of the Duchy of Cornwall, Tintagel sits on an amazing part of the Cornish coastline surrounded by an ANOB (area of outstanding natural beauty). Other great places to choose for your visit are;

We finally head off to Boscastle, a romantic harbour set in a deep valley. While you are here why not visit;

We depart from your pick-up location and travel to Tintagel, our first stop and home to many wonderful places to explore and enjoy, whatever your tastes. Tintagel Castle is the most well-known with its legendary links to King Arthur. As part of the Duchy of Cornwall, Tintagel sits on an amazing part of the Cornish coastline surrounded by an ANOB (area of outstanding natural beauty). Other great places to choose for your visit are;

We meet again to travel on to Port Isaac. Avid TV fans of Doc Martin will recognise this small idyllic fishing village as being the location for 'Port Wenn'. The vehicle will drop you off, leaving you free to explore this wonderful place. Some of our suggested stop offs include;
